Riding Lessons

Located towards the edge of Folsom, LA, only 15 minutes from downtown Covington and Folsom Village. At Southern Sport Horses we’re here to meet you where you are in your riding career. We offer jumping lessons to help you progress through the levels confidently, dressage lessons to help build coordination and horsemanship, and teach everyday horse care.

Have your own horse you would like to ride? We allow trailering in, but if you haven’t yet made the big step of purchasing a horse we have wonderful lesson horses available.

Horse Training

Ashley has 20 years of experience riding a variety of horse breeds in jumpers and dressage. Our training belief is that in any discipline a solid groundwork of respect and confidence can lead a horse through a lifetime.

At Southern Sport Horses, we aim to build a flexible and easygoing community for beginning to advanced horses and riders. Our riding program is aimed to build on solid fundamentals to prepare horse and rider to progress through the levels in their riding career.
